Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lou Shibai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the Asian Art auction, the work Ducks and Wisteria sold for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,693.58) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lou Shibai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bird On The Rock in April this year with an auction result of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 128,670.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lou Shibai erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Ducks and Wisteria für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.693,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lou Shibai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bird On The Rock im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 128.670,65).
