Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 22,100.00. Admittedly, works by Louis-Emile Pinel de Grandchamp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French The Nusretiye Mosque in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 152,500.00 (€ 185,627.79).
