Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Old Master Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Une Espagnole Jouant De La Guitare by Louis-Michel van Loo. The price achieved of EUR 228,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis-Michel van Loo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of The Comtesse Marie Louise De Beaurepaire, Seated Full Length In A Landscape Holding A Garland Of Flowers, which sold at auction in July 2008 for GBP 433,250.00 (€ 550,449.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Old Master Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Une Espagnole Jouant De La Guitare von Louis-Michel van Loo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 228.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis-Michel van Loo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of The Comtesse Marie Louise De Beaurepaire, Seated Full Length In A Landscape Holding A Garland Of Flowers beobachtet, die im Juli 2008 für GBP 433.250,00 (€ 550.449,00) versteigert wurde.
