Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Photography "Philip Henry Delamotte, Views of the Crystal Palace, 1855", which included the work Pont Sur Le Canal, Parc Du Chateau De Villeneuve-L'Etang, Circa 1851 by Louis-Rémy Robert. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Louis-Rémy Robert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Henriette Robert, C.1850 in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,802.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Photography "Philip Henry Delamotte, Views of the Crystal Palace, 1855" durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pont Sur Le Canal, Parc Du Chateau De Villeneuve-L'Etang, Circa 1851 von Louis-Rémy Robert zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis-Rémy Robert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Henriette Robert, C.1850 im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.802,07).
