The work Majestic View From The Peak by Lu Yanshao was sold in the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 12,657.63), 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yanshao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise In Tai Mountain in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 16,250,000.00 (€ 1,855,531.33).

Die Arbeit Majestic View From The Peak von Lu Yanshao wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 12.657,63) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yanshao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise In Tai Mountain im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.250.000,00 (€ 1.855.531,33).
