This artwork by Lu Zhenhuan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Viewing Mountains sold for HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,950.37) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Zhenhuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Willows Along The Stream in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,825.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Zhenhuan erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Viewing Mountains für HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.950,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Zhenhuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Willows Along The Stream im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.825,67).
