Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Two animated figures gesticulating by Luca Cambiaso for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,820.64). This price was achieved in the auction Always in Style: Old Master Drawings from the Collection of Herbert Kasper at Christies and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Cambiaso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A 'Sacra Conversazione': The Madonna And Child With Saints Paul And Augustine, A Putto Reading At Their Feet in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 692,000.00 (€ 1,027,779.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two animated figures gesticulating von Luca Cambiaso für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.820,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Always in Style: Old Master Drawings from the Collection of Herbert Kasper bei Christies erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca Cambiaso erzielen.
