Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Venice, A View Of The Piazzetta Looking Towards The Punta Della Dogana by Luca Carlevarijs. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 325,000.00 (€ 356,828.39). Admittedly, works by Luca Carlevarijs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 1,125,250.00 (€ 1,593,769.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venice, A View Of The Piazzetta Looking Towards The Punta Della Dogana von Luca Carlevarijs zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 325.000,00 (€ 356.828,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luca Carlevarijs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.125.250,00 (€ 1.593.769,19).
