In the DESSINS ANCIENS ET DU 19EME SIECLE auction, the work La Vocation de Saint Pierre et Saint André sold for EUR 22,325.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Giordano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Martyrdom of Saint Bartholomew in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 962,500.00 (€ 1,214,015.12).
