In April 2018 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Concetto Spaziale, Attesa by Lucio Fontana. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,687,500.00 69% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucio Fontana achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 29,173,000.00 (€ 27,620,715.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 69 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Concetto Spaziale, Attesa von Lucio Fontana zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.687.500,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucio Fontana erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 29.173.000,00 (€ 27.620.715,77).
