Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2008 Christies in London held the auction Travel, Science & Natural History, which included the work The Taj Mahal from the banks of the Yamuna River by Ludwig Hans Fischer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,844.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ludwig Hans Fischer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Khamsin in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 77,500.00 (€ 86,516.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Travel, Science & Natural History durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Taj Mahal from the banks of the Yamuna River von Ludwig Hans Fischer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.844,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ludwig Hans Fischer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Khamsin im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 77.500,00 (€ 86.516,15).
