Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction The Dealer's Eye | London, which included the work A View Of Roscoff, Brittany by Luigi Loir. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,519.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Loir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 224,750.00 (€ 255,948.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Dealer's Eye | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View Of Roscoff, Brittany von Luigi Loir zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.519,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Loir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 224.750,00 (€ 255.948,32).
