Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A Reclining Nude by Luis Ricardo Falero was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 14,400.00 (€ 20,836.56). Admittedly, works by Luis Ricardo Falero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish The Enchantress in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,487.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A Reclining Nude von Luis Ricardo Falero im Juni 2006 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 14.400,00 (€ 20.836,56) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis Ricardo Falero auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish The Enchantress im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 107.487,69).
