It achieved a price of HKD 460,000.00 (€ 43,651.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Shouzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orchid And Stone in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,440,000.00 (€ 611,122.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orchid And Bamboo von Ma Shouzhen kam im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 460.000,00 (€ 43.651,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Shouzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orchid And Stone im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.440.000,00 (€ 611.122,55).
