Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Four Seasons by Ma Yuanyu was sold in the CHINESE CERAMICS AND WORKS OF ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2005. The price achieved of EUR 10,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ma Yuanyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Herons In The Lotus Pond in October last year with an auction result of HKD 432,000.00 (€ 55,358.97).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Four Seasons von Ma Yuanyu wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion CHINESE CERAMICS AND WORKS OF ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ma Yuanyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Herons In The Lotus Pond im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 432.000,00 (€ 55.358,97).
