Sold at the upper estimate price
In March 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction SØR Rusche Collection - Shapes and Scapes | ONLINE ONLY, which included this untitled work by Marcel Gähler. The auction ended at the price of EUR 150.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 100.00 – 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Gähler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel (0_ 2003_ 20) in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 2,678.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion SØR Rusche Collection - Shapes and Scapes | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marcel Gähler zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 150,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 100,00 – 150,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Gähler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel (0_ 2003_ 20) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.678,00.
