Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Temptation by Marcel René von Herrfeldt was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in September 2006. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel René von Herrfeldt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Reclining Nude On A Rug in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,239.24).

Die Arbeit Temptation von Marcel René von Herrfeldt wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.425,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
