Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Fairy Horse of David of Sasoun by Marcos Grigorian was sold in the Marcos Grigorian UnearthedWorks from the Artist's Estate auction at Bonhams in New York in June last year. The price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,262.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcos Grigorian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horizontal & Vertical Earthwork each panel 188 x 188 cm in June last year with an auction result of USD 315,375.00 (€ 301,246.54).
