Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Untitled (Whirlpool) by Marcos Grigorian was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in June last year. The price achieved of USD 19,125.00 (€ 18,268.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcos Grigorian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horizontal & Vertical Earthwork each panel 188 x 188 cm in June last year with an auction result of USD 315,375.00 (€ 301,246.54).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Untitled (Whirlpool) von Marcos Grigorian kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 19.125,00 (€ 18.268,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcos Grigorian erzielen.
