Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,510.00 (€ 33,018.93). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Cata (Wine Tasting), which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 50,900.00 (€ 71,273.17).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 21.510,00 (€ 33.018,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Cata (Wine Tasting) beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 50.900,00 (€ 71.273,17) versteigert wurde.
