Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Charles D'Orléans by Marie Laurencin was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,574.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marie Laurencin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme aux tulipes in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Charles D'Orléans von Marie Laurencin wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.574,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marie Laurencin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme aux tulipes im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
