Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work L'orto delle bambole (The doll's garden), 1970 by Mario de Biasi for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,321.70). This price was achieved in the auction Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario de Biasi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Milano, Piazza Duomo, 1951 in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,408.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit L'orto delle bambole (The doll's garden), 1970 von Mario de Biasi für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.321,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario de Biasi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Milano, Piazza Duomo, 1951 im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.408,15).
