Auction result well in line with expectations

In June 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Mark Seliger: RADArt4Aid, which included the work Mikhail Baryshnikov, New York, NY, 2010 by Mark Seliger. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,229.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mark Seliger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work President Barack Obama, Washington, DC, 2010 in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,389.72).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Mark Seliger: RADArt4Aid durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mikhail Baryshnikov, New York, NY, 2010 von Mark Seliger zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.229,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mark Seliger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit President Barack Obama, Washington, DC, 2010 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.389,72).
