Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Herkules Entwurfsmodell 1 - Büste' - 2009 by Markus Lüpertz. The price achieved of EUR 11,808.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Markus Lüpertz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arrangement für eine Mütze I- dithyrambisch (Arrangement for a Cap I- dithyrambic) in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 333,124.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Herkules Entwurfsmodell 1 - Büste' - 2009 von Markus Lüpertz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.808,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Markus Lüpertz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arrangement für eine Mütze I- dithyrambisch (Arrangement for a Cap I- dithyrambic) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 333.124,41).
