Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mob by Martin Peikert was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,486.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Peikert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Verbier, which sold at auction in January 2015 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 28,281.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mob von Martin Peikert kam im Januar 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.486,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Peikert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Verbier beobachtet, die im Januar 2015 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 28.281,89) versteigert wurde.
