In November 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Signora con collana di perle by Massimiliano Gallelli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,480.00 65% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Massimiliano Gallelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The lyrist's serenade in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 14,100.00 (€ 16,615.60).

Im November 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Signora con collana di perle von Massimiliano Gallelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.480,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massimiliano Gallelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The lyrist's serenade im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.100,00 (€ 16.615,60).
