Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sylphide by Mathurin Moreau was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,272.02). Admittedly, works by Mathurin Moreau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French printemps in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 52,651.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sylphide von Mathurin Moreau kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.272,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mathurin Moreau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French printemps im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 52.651,81).
