A top price for Matthias van Arkel
This artwork by Matthias van Arkel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. In the Böttiger Collection H067 auction, the work 'Mini-Sarkofag' sold for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 10,162.76) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 60,000.00. This high result makes 'Mini-Sarkofag' the most expensive artwork by Matthias van Arkel that we have observed at auctions so far.
