A top price for Maurice Blond - as previously expected
The work Two village scenes First: signed in Latin (lower right) by Maurice Blond was sold in the L'Ecole de ParisA Modernist Diaspora auction at Bonhams in London in June last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,147.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two village scenes First: signed in Latin (lower right) is the most expensive artwork by Maurice Blond that we have observed at auctions so far.
