In the The Collection of Ann & Gordon Getty: Wheatland auction, the work Snowy Day, Boston sold for USD 252,000.00 (€ 238,455.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Brazil Prendergast achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Stony Beach in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 3,526,000.00 (€ 4,170,313.42).
