Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne, which included the work Fiésole by Maurice Denis. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 27,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Denis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Cuisinière in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,391,304.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fiésole von Maurice Denis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 27.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Denis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Cuisinière im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.391.304,35).
