Auction result well in line with expectations

In October last year Bonhams in London held the auction Islamic and Indian Art Online Sale, which included the work A Sikh officer of the First World War by Maurice Millière. The price achieved of GBP 918.00 (€ 1,069.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Millière have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au restaurant in November 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,439.96).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Islamic and Indian Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Sikh officer of the First World War von Maurice Millière zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 918,00 (€ 1.069,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Millière auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au restaurant im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.439,96).
