Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish Jug by Max Weber was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 137,500.00 (€ 122,374.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Weber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,925,000.00 (€ 1,728,783.12).
