Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village by Maxime Noire was sold in the Orientalist Paintings auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2009. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,148.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maxime Noire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vue De Bou Saada, which sold at auction in November 2014 for EUR 4,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Village von Maxime Noire wurde im Dezember 2009 in der Auktion Orientalist Paintings bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.148,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Maxime Noire mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vue De Bou Saada beobachtet, die im November 2014 für EUR 4.160,00 versteigert wurde.
