It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,416.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mel Ramos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A.C. Annie in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 1,071,650.00 (€ 1,335,228.75).

Die Arbeit Peek-A-Boo Marilyn 1-3 (Three Works) von Mel Ramos wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Erotic Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.416,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mel Ramos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A.C. Annie im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.071.650,00 (€ 1.335.228,75).
