Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michel Ciry could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Plaine à Chateaudun changed hands for GBP 250.00 (€ 290.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Michel Ciry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La ferme à Doudeville in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 763.75 (€ 1,305.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michel Ciry konnte im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Plaine à Chateaudun für GBP 250,00 (€ 290,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michel Ciry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La ferme à Doudeville im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 763,75 (€ 1.305,47).
