Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cattle Watering by Mikhail Clodt von Jürgensburg was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 241,250.00 (€ 304,948.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Clodt von Jürgensburg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A riverside farm, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 769,250.00 (€ 935,479.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cattle Watering von Mikhail Clodt von Jürgensburg kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 241.250,00 (€ 304.948,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Clodt von Jürgensburg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A riverside farm beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für GBP 769.250,00 (€ 935.479,60) versteigert wurde.
