Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art Evening, which included the work By The Lake by Mikhail Nesterov. The price achieved of GBP 240,500.00 (€ 336,762.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Nesterov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 782,500.00 (€ 977,696.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art Evening durch, in der auch die Arbeit By The Lake von Mikhail Nesterov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 240.500,00 (€ 336.762,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Nesterov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für GBP 782.500,00 (€ 977.696,31) versteigert wurde.
