Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ishiuchi Miyako could be acquired at Bonhams in Sidney in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Sherman | Prints & Multiples auction, the work Nail #17 1941-1992, 2001 changed hands for AUD 307.50 (€ 293.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ishiuchi Miyako achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yokosuka Story in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 120,990.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ishiuchi Miyako konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Sidney für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Sherman | Prints & Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Nail #17 1941-1992, 2001 für AUD 307,50 (€ 293,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 500,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ishiuchi Miyako erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yokosuka Story im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 120.990,25).
