Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Portrait D'Al Hussein Ibn Abdullah Ibn Sina by Mohammed Racim was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 6,250.00. Admittedly, works by Mohammed Racim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baie D'Alger in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 31,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Portrait D'Al Hussein Ibn Abdullah Ibn Sina von Mohammed Racim im Juni 2013 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 6.250,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammed Racim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baie D'Alger im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.850,00.
