Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January this year Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Xing Yun. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 16,575.00 (€ 1,947.84). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Xing Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 16.575,00 (€ 1.947,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
