The work En - Circle by Morita Shiryū was sold in the Morita Shiryu: Bokujin auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 55,030.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Morita Shiryū have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work So - Wilderness in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,740,000.00 (€ 301,569.37).

Die Arbeit En - Circle von Morita Shiryū wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Morita Shiryu: Bokujin bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 55.030,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Morita Shiryū auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit So - Wilderness im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.740.000,00 (€ 301.569,37).
