It changed hands for a price of USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,284.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mort Künstler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Keep To Your Sabers, Men! (Generals Custer And Hampton, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, July 3, 1863) in April 2012 with an auction result of USD 98,500.00 (€ 74,457.63).
