Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mr. Doodle was sold in the Cherry Picked Modern & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in London in August this year. The price achieved of HKD 25,600.00 (€ 3,011.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. Doodle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mr. Doodle wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Cherry Picked Modern & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.600,00 (€ 3.011,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
