Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work His favourite spot by Nadezhda Stupina. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,099.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nadezhda Stupina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Irises and sunflowers in a yellow jug, on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77).
