Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work K by Senkichiro Nasaka was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,545.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Senkichiro Nasaka - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work 192, which sold at auction in June 2014 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,134.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work K von Senkichiro Nasaka kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.545,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Senkichiro Nasaka mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work 192 beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.134,40) versteigert wurde.
