This artwork by Nasirun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Festival Rampogan sold for HKD 271,500.00 (€ 22,375.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nasirun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pemandangan Dari Atas (Landscape From Above) sold at auction in April 2017 with the realized price of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,082.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nasirun erzielte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Festival Rampogan für HKD 271.500,00 (€ 22.375,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nasirun; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pemandangan Dari Atas (Landscape From Above) im April 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.082,61).
