This artwork by Nasjah Djamin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. In the Indonesian Art auction, the work Fields and Hills sold for EUR 6,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nasjah Djamin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Wanita Nelayan (Women selling fish) sold at auction in October 2002 with the realized price of HKD 65,725.00 (€ 8,527.42).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nasjah Djamin erzielte im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Indonesian Art wurde die Arbeit Fields and Hills für EUR 6.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nasjah Djamin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Wanita Nelayan (Women selling fish) im Oktober 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 65.725,00 (€ 8.527,42).
