Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Nguyễn Gia Trí was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 1,437,500.00 (€ 164,304.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyễn Gia Trí - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Provincial Village , which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 5,140,000.00 (€ 565,717.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Nguyễn Gia Trí wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.437.500,00 (€ 164.304,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 1.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyễn Gia Trí mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Provincial Village beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 5.140.000,00 (€ 565.717,72) versteigert wurde.
