Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape After Wang Meng by Ni Can for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,941.98). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ni Can have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes After Song Masters in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,180.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Meng von Ni Can für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.941,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ni Can auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes After Song Masters im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.180,90).
